Bidder Information: bid list, bid notices, getting specs, mailing bids, contacts

BIDDERS:

PLEASE READ THE SPECIFICATIONS. Lately we are receiving a lot of bids where bidders are not following the instructions and force us to reject them.

 

BID LIST:

Potential bidders can now dowload the "Request To Be Placed On Bid List" form located in the Forms section under the heading of Resources or you can still send us a letter on your letterhead stating for which goods or services you would like to be notified. Make sure you have a complete list and include company name, contact, address, phone number and fax number. Mail your request to

Not all Categories listed are bid. Bidders on the list will receive a copy of the Notice to Bidders, not the specifications, by snail mail when specifications become available.

 

BID NOTICES:

Bid notices are published in the legal section of the Asbury Park Press, placed on this web page and as stated above mailed to those on our bid list.

 

GETTING SPECIFICATIONS:

Specifications will be available for pick up or mail. If a fee is involved for the purchase of the specifications, we will mail the specifications after receipt of your payment. Do not send cash. Credit Cards are not accepted. Checks are to be made out to the "Township of Brick" and sent to the Office of the Township Clerk. If you wish to receive specifications by a carrier or delivery service other than regular mail, you must make the arrangements and include preaddressed and prepaid packaging with your payment.

 

MAILING IN BIDS:

If you mail in your bid, even if you use a carrier service, it is highly recommended that you call the Township Clerks office at 732-262-1004 prior to the bid opening date and time to make sure they have received it. Make your call early to allow time to research where your bid might be in case it has not yet arrived. The Township is not responsible for late or misdirected bids even if it arrived prior to the scheduled bid opening. Bids that are not in the Township Clerks possession at the time of the bid opening will be returned unopened.
