Logo Design Content

The Township of Brick is sponsoring a logo design contest to update the logo of the municipal television station, BTV, Channel 20. The logo will be used to promote the municipal television station and will be utilized on stationary, documents, web pages, signs and more.

Contest Rules:

· Contest is open to all Brick Township residents in grades 9-12. Submissions of those under the age of 18 must have written parental permission as evidenced by a parent’s signature below.

· Contestants may submit up to three (3) different entries. Entries do not have to be submitted individually.

· Only submissions that are received at the Municipal Administration Office by 4:00 p.m. Friday, February 15, 2008 will be considered.

· All submissions become the property of the Township of Brick.

Logo Design Specifications:

· Logo designs must include the letters BTV.

· Design must work in both color and black and white.

· Design must work in various sizes.

· Logo designs must be original artwork, i.e. no clip art or images borrowed from other logos or illustrations.

· Logos must be in submitted in digital format, 600 x 800 jpeg.

· Winning contestant will be required to provide an uncompressed TIF file of the winning submission.

· Entries must include contest form (below), a black/white print out and a color printout of the logo and digital files of the logo saved to CD. Submitted materials will not be returned.

Awards:

· Judging will be done by a panel of three people chosen by Mayor Stephen Acropolis.

· The top three entries will be recognized at a meeting of the Township Council in 2008.

· There is no monetary reward for winning submissions.

NOTICE: Please note that the Township of Brick may choose not to use the winning logo as the official logo. Also, the Township reserves the right to modify any logo entry and or adopt concepts or portions of logos submitted for use in the adopted municipal television station logo.
