Notice of Public Hearing

You are hereby noticed that on the 20^th of February, 2007 at 7:00 o’clock in the evening, prevailing time, before the Township Council of Brick at the Municipal Building, 401 Chambers Bridge Road, Township of Brick, New Jersey, a Public Hearing will be held to consider Initial Plan Endorsement to the Office of Smart Growth in compliance with N.J.A.C. 5:85-7.1, et.seq. This public hearing will be held for the purpose of receiving comment on the Township of Brick’s petition for Initial Plan Endorsement pursuant to the State Planning Commission’s regulations set forth in N.J.A.C. 5:85-7.1, et seq. and the Plan Endorsement Guidelines approved by the State Planning Commission on April 28, 2004. The Township Council may also take formal action for the adoption of a Resolution authorizing submission of the Petition for Plan Endorsement to the State Planning Commission.

The public can comment orally at the meeting or submit written comments to the Township Council regarding the Initial Plan Endorsement Petition and accompanying documents. A copy of the petition for Initial Plan Endorsement including proposed mapping changes, draft master plan elements, design concepts for center designation, draft ordinances for new and redevelopment in the proposed center and all other relevant materials are available for public inspection at the Township Clerk’s office. Written notice may be provided electronically, by facsimile copy, by the United States Postal Service or other comparable delivery system. Interested parties may register directly with the Office of Smart Growth to receive notice of meetings or hearings related to the Brick Township petition for Plan Endorsement.
