What is the Application Process? Added ›05/21/2006 10:01:40 PM
FAQ
When an application is received by the Planning Board, many tasks must be completed prior to a hearing. The application is reviewed by the Planning Board engineer, Municipal Planner, Bureau of Fire Safety and other officials. The secretary deems the application complete and schedules a Public Hearing. When all the testimony is given and the public has had the opportunity to be heard, the hearing is closed to the public and carried to a work session meeting. The board discusses the merits of the application and directs the board attorney to prepare a resolution of approval or denial. At the following public meeting the Planning Board votes for the resolution. See Citizen Guides
