All interested parties are invited to attend any bid opening, even if you did not submit a bid. The time and locations of all bid openings can be found in the advertisement published in the Ocean County Observer, Asbury Park Press and the Town New. The front cover of the Bidders Information and Specification states the due date and time. The Notice to Bidders found near the front of the Bidders Information and Specification documents states the complete information including the date, time, and location. In most instances, bids are taken in the morning, usually at 10:00 a.m. in the “A” or “B” room located on the top floor of the municipal complex. The room however is not marked but a sign is placed on the door indicating the time and bid to be opened. A receptionist is located near the entrance door and she can direct you to the room. Should her desk be vacant at the time of your arrival you can get directions from the Township Clerks Office.
