Church Road between Drum point Road and Mantoloking Road will be paved beginning on Monday, September 8, 2008. This project wil begin at 7am and last several days. Please expect delays.

Jersey Central Power & Light will be performing aerial inspections of its overhead transmission lines beginning September 16 and concluding September 19, weather permitting. During the inspections a helicopter with the call letters N765KV (Black with Red stripes) may be seen hovering near substations and power lines.
The Matrix Consulting Group was retained by the Township of Brick to conduct an Audit of Police Department Operations. The selection of the firm, by the Township Council, was done following submission of responses by a number of firms, with final selection made by the Council itself.
In reaching the concluding point of the study, the project team has assembled this final report that summarizes our findings, conclusions and recommendations, where appropriate. This report represents the conclusion of several months of analysis focusing on the organizational structure, staffing and operations of the Police Department. The primary focus of this study was on the necessary level of staffing of particular concern as the Township is struggling to balance revenues with competing demands for services placing the spotlight on the public safety services of the Township due to their large share of the local government budget.

FEMA surveyors will be in costal areas preparing new flood studies for Ocean County. While in the field will make every effort to stay on public land; however, it may be neccesary from time to time for the surveyors to enter upon private property. Should this occor the surveyors will make every effort to conntact the owners in advance and seek permission. The crews will be out from August 7 to August 20.
